God bless you For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come (1 Timothy 4:8). Some people claim to be making progress spiritually, yet their lives are full of ups and downs. “My spiritual life is okay, but I have problems in my business,” some may say. This ought not to be. God expects us to make spiritual progress always. He expects us to grow. If you can make spiritual progress, progress in every other area of yo...

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6). There’re two different aspects of salvation: the legal and the vital aspects. The vital aspect of salvation is activated by your confession; it only works when you say it; while the legal aspect requires acknowledgement. In Romans 10:9, we see the confession or affirmation principle as the very basis for salvation. It says, “…if thou shalt confess (decl...

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (1 Corinthians 6:20 ) Many years ago, a Chinese brother was traveling on the same train with three gentlemen who wanted to play a game. They required a fourth person to play with them, so they asked him to join in. “I’m sorry,” he replied. “I didn’t come with my hands.” The men stared at him in astonishment because to them, he seemed complete, yet, he said he didn’t come with his hands. “What about these ones?” they asked. Then he replied, “They’re not mine; they belong to Jesus because He bought me with a price. Now I only use them for the things He wants done.” The salvation we have in Christ is serious business; Jesus paid a huge price by giving Himself in our place so we could go free. You therefore can’t afford to live life the way you choose anymore, for a price has been paid; you’ve been bought. Now you belong to Him and should live a life that’s pleasing to Him. The Bible...

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance (Luke 15:7) Living for Jesus Christ and making yourself His partner in building and transforming lives around the world is what counts the most in life. God did the ultimate: He gave His Son to die to bring us to Himself; to win us to Himself. So everything in your life—your thoughts, ideas, the excellence in your life—should be about soul-winning. Many are concerned about the lesser things of life; but you must focus on the Gospel. True fulfillment and satisfaction in life is only derived from living for the Lord, fulfilling His dream. Many get carried away by their needs or their personal dreams; that’s wrong. Take your eyes off yourself; pursue and fulfill God’s dream. Live your life as an ambassador and steward of the mysteries of Christ; that’s what your life is for. He already said all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). I...

The Lord Jesus, before His glorious ascension, charged us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. We’re His faithful and empowered witnesses. You can say like Paul, “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry” (1 Timothy 1:12). Your life as a Christian is to bear witness of the reality of the Kingdom, and minister the Gospel to those in your world and in the regions beyond. You’ve received the power to be a faithful and effective witness of the...
