THE “UN-INFECTABLE” BREED!
And these signs shall follow them that believe…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them… (Mark 16:17-18). The Words of Jesus in this Scripture above are as clear as they ever could be- the believer is immune to deadly ingestion! If he drinks any deadly or poisonous substance, it should have no effect on him. Notice that Jesus didn’t say, “If they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not kill them,” He said “it shall not hurt them.” This means it’s not supposed to hurt you, let alone kill you. It makes no difference whether the deadly substance gets into your system through your mouth or through your veins–it shall have no effect on you. The Bible gives us the account of the Apostle Paul, after he and his co-travelers were shipwrecked at the island of Malta.
