THE HOLY SPIRIT OUR INTERCESSOR

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26)

How comforting to know that the Holy Spirit bears us up in the hour of need, when we don’t know what to pray for as we ought! He intercedes – prays for us in ways that cannot be put into words (Romans 8:26 CEV). How does He do it? He does it through you! This is one of the reasons it’s important to pray more in the spirit, and listen to the signals and intuitions of God’s Spirit when you pray.

The Holy Spirit requires our vocal faculties to carry out His intercessory ministry through us. He prompts you and gives you the urge to speak in tongues, and when that urge comes, don’t relent or hesitate because it’s from the Holy Spirit who may be seeking to save you or your loved ones from imminent mishap. Yield yourself to the intercessory ministry of the Holy Spirit today.
